On Sept. 10, 2025, our modern society changed forever with the assassination of a political figure who welcomed all to debate in a civil manner about the subjects of political matters that young people had been taught in a specific way to see. This was a devastating incident that didn’t need to happen, but did due to multiple factors. The radicalization of one young mind to take violent action against a famous figure who he did not agree with in different views on the way the world should operate. The willingness to kill with a hunting rifle used to shoot wildlife. A well-matriculated plot to go onto a college campus that this person attended for only one semester and to pull the trigger from high above to accomplish his wicked mission. But there shouldn’t be any respect paid towards the name of this vile monster who killed one Charles James Kirk, a young 31-year old American conservative activist who leaves behind a beloved wife and two children. The person who did this is an agent of Satan. It doesn’t matter what his religious beliefs were or what he believed politically speaking. How else can you explain a white Christian male’s murder? Unfortunately, there have been those who have shown no sympathy or empathy towards Charlie Kirk and his family and other loved ones because they see “us” as the “enemy” and they do not live up to the Biblical quote of “But I say to you, Love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you, so that you may be sons of your Father who is in Heaven”, (Matthew 5:44-45).
Now, Charlie is with Jesus in Heaven after he was martyred in an almost similar way to the Messiah himself. Except without a trial held by the Sanhedrin or some other judicial council, Mr. Kirk’s life was ended by the judgment of a psychotic assassin. He was a month short of turning 32 years old and was around the same age as Christ himself when he was crucified at Golgotha outside the gates of Jerusalem. Charlie Kirk and Jesus of Nazareth were both polarizing figures that had some people love them and plenty of others hate them. They both built massive followings, said things that offended the leaders in charge and challenged the status quo on a lot of things. Unlike Jesus, Charlie’s mission was to save his home nation from being consumed by an evil syndicate of wicked leaders that had poisoned the minds of several generations for many decades. For Jesus, He was seeking to save the world from sin, death and the Devil himself and his resurrection reminds us that we are born to be immortal and benevolent beings if only we follow our Savior and have our souls resurrected when He returns to judge the people of this world.
Charlie Kirk will not be resurrected, unless he rises from the dead like Jesus did three days after he was crucified. And I doubt that will happen, since Charlie is not God and he was unable to be saved by the medical workers in Orem, Utah, where he was scheduled to speak at a campus event held by the political advocacy group he founded out of high school at Utah Valley University. Sadly, that event did not last long as the host of the event was murdered by a young troubled man who perched himself on the rooftop of a building 200 yards away from the courtyard. Charlie was sitting in a vulnerable position, answering a question about mass shootings carried out by transgender individuals in recent years in the United States of America. And thus, he was silenced and put down by a bullet shot by someone who did not want him to speak anymore in the land of the living. What a way to have your life end. Doing the thing you loved and not being able to walk away because someone wanted him to die. A lot of people did sadly. It’s just that very few people have the guts and the evil in their hearts to commit such a soulless and cold-blooded act of hatred and commit a targeted homicide of just one person at an event attended by thousands of young adults trying to find their way in this bizarre, insane world. Tyler Robinson is the name of the assassin and he will face judgment by the law enforcement agencies and by God himself in due time. Maybe as soon as this day.
What Charlie Kirk’s legacy stands for is civil discourse in a society that has become increasingly polarized due to “culture wars” that have been going on for decades and have evolved into different matters that have arisen in our country and world. Having social media platforms as his megaphone, Kirk did not fear anything or anybody. At least not publicly. He did not back down from engaging in fair discussion with those who did not completely agree with him or completely disagreed with his takes on a lot of issues. He was the perfect orator of our time. He was like our Cicero(another tragic murder victim in his time), someone who decided to be the ultimate rhetorician without needing a college degree to back up his intelligence. Cicero had an open forum to discuss his ideals and views of the world in a time where the Roman Republic was transforming into the Roman Empire. Marcus Tullius Cicero was assassinated as a 63-year old statesman and lawyer around the time that Julius Caesar was making his rise to power. Charlie Kirk was twice that young when he was shot in the neck by a single bullet shot by an insane young acolyte of the far-left’s poisonous impact on countless impressionable minds in this nation. Our republic is in dire straits, as Cicero’s republic was, and we must be very careful to decide the path we take and who we desire to become as a people on the greatest nation on the face of the Earth in modern times.
For Charlie’s impact on young people in the generation whose time period of birth began at the end of the 20th century and goes into the first decade of the 21st century, he is the ultimate guiding light on seeking out the truth in a time littered by claims of misinformation(mostly committed by the ones claiming that there is misinformation) and divisive rhetoric that threatens to plunge us as American citizens into an era of complete darkness and destruction. He literally convinced kids and young adults to turn away from the toxic lessons that academia had taught towards them. That white people should feel guilty for acts of racism committed by their descendants and elders, who did grow up in a more racist society than the one we live in today. That anybody can decide in their hearts and minds to become a different gender than the one they were born as and have unlimited access to use facilities that correspond to their “gender identity”. Or worse to fundamentally change their bodies at an age where they cannot yet gain access to a driver’s license or legally drink alcohol or even vote in an election. That a human baby in the womb of a mother does not have any right to life and can be aborted by the woman desperate to end her pregnancy in a vile and cruel way because she is afraid to die in the process of giving birth(the Jane Seymour paradox). Even though the Lord forms us in the womb(biologically speaking, there’s a different way for that to happen, but a human cannot be formed in the womb without it being open), there are those who defy the will of God on a daily basis in aborting their babies. Forced abortions are bad and occur in dictatorial societies across the globe, but a person deciding to take the path to abortion on their own accord and choice is so much worse. We live in a society that grants freedoms to us as sentient beings, but there is a line that has been crossed when it comes to robbing countless human beings of the blessings of life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness. You cannot have the latter two if life itself is not valued highly.
This is a fraction of the wickedness that state-run schools and universities have inflicted upon so many young people throughout the years. Most young people don’t have the mental capacity to think for themselves, so they let other people determine what they should think and not what they truly believe on different matters. These bad shepherds have led flocks of people astray and onto dark paths where there is no hope of redemption or forgiveness, unless they repent of their sinful behavior and turn away from the horrid lessons they have been taught about the world around them and people who think opposite of them. Charlie Kirk was a good shepherd who created his own flock to come to his tent(literally) and talk with him about a topic(or topics) that they are passionate about. Charlie embraced discussion as a means of getting to the bottom of a matter and resolving the conflict within a young person’s mind. To turn them away from what they had been taught and to bring themselves to find the truth of any particular matter. To never stop asking questions, because when that happens you let the powers that be win.
Unfortunately, academic institutions throughout this great nation have turned away from civil discourse into harmony in the forms of brainwashing as many young minds as they can to get them to agree on what they are teaching in terms of topics on history, racial tension, current events(especially concerning a particular political party) and the way they are supposed to act in the world. As compliant subjects to their gods of political power and popular culture. To worship false idols as holy and to embrace any celebrity status they might attain in their lives, because that is the goal, right? To become famous and to make lots of hard cash money on the way. I’m sorry, unless you work in a role that allows you to be paid big bucks or are an athlete basking in the golden age of increased salaries in sports leagues, then you are being fooled. Most of us simple folk are in the “middle class”, a portion of people being shrunk down into poverty and economic despair as the years go by and taxes only increase to pay for the wicked government programs that these sycophants in positions of power seek to impose on us. A lot of people wish they were richer, but the more their economic value grows, the more they will be taxed. These mindless goons shout out “Tax the rich” in thinking that it isn’t happening enough throughout the country. Oh, I assure you, they are being taxed, especially when a particular party has a monopoly on power in their state. They snarl at any tax breaks that the rich get, wishing they could be so fortunate and not have to be faced with imprisonment for missing out on paying their taxes on time.
Anyway back to poor Charlie, who founded Turning Point USA out of his high school in the suburbs of Chicago, Illinois, a city rife with crime and is having a crackdown on immigration currently happening on the same week as one of their native sons got killed. He founded this organization to challenge the status quo of the Democratic Party’s leadership at the federal level in having Barack Obama(another Chicago native) as the sitting president running for re-election in 2012. Kirk’s energetic rise to popularity in the “manosphere” led to countless young conservative adults following his lead and creating their own channels for discussing different political matters that the mainstream media simply would not give attention to. This became more important when Kirk met with a presidential candidate for the Republican Party in 2015. That candidate was Donald John Trump and Kirk gave his full-throated support behind Trump and his policies that would seemingly MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN. Kirk and Trump were one in the same in leading a disillusioned group of voters and citizens to reject the era of neoliberalism that had been inflicted onto them for decades and to bring the country back to a time where things were more simple. The campaign phrase of “Make America Great Again” has been used by previous presidential candidates in the past and it has been misconstrued as a symbol of hate speech and vitriol. Specifically emblazoned on a red hat in capital white lettering with an Old Glory flag on the side of it, MAGA became the rallying cry of an energized candidate and a young spokesperson for a better vision regarding America’s future. Thus, as history will tell, Donald Trump won the 2016 presidential election over Hillary Clinton and had his reputation dragged in the mud for a false Russian collusion scandal hurled at his head. Many people already saw through the lies, but they were called “conspiracy theorists” and spreaders of “disinformation”, when really the opposite was true regarding the left-wing media’s constant smearing of Trump and his supporters.
As trust in the media waned, Charlie Kirk’s message grew proportionately stronger. He even committed himself to help get Trump re-elected in 2020, an effort that failed due to the deceptive racial reckoning and global pandemic that had plagued the millions of people who voted in the election in unorthodox ways, mainly through mail-in ballots. Still, Kirk kept on trying to bring truth to power and open up the eyes of countless people, young and old, white and black, male and female, about the state of our country and the decline that it went through under the presidency of Joe Biden. Although there were those who disagreed with them, the TPUSA events on college campuses from coast to coast proved to be a turning point in the voting preferences of a generation born and raised in an age of fear-mongering messaging on social media platforms about the end of the world via climate change and that Republicans are “fascist, racist Nazis” who want to “end our democracy”. They had heard this messaging in the classrooms and a lot of Generation-Z people decided to open their minds to a better way of seeing the world rather than through a “doomsday” lens. Gen-Z people of college-student age started becoming more patriotic when their institutions were pushing a different message of shaming and trashing America. Seeing how lucky they were to live in a country of free expression and being brought from the brink of propagandist rhetoric that told them to hate the country they live in, millions of first-time election voters registered as Republicans or independents and voted for candidates that they felt could give them a better chance of living a peaceful and prosperous life in the United States of America. Being swayed by the truth on illegal immigration and crimes committed by illegal “aliens” onto innocent civilians and also seeing the real-time cognitive decline of the president elected in a pandemic year, young folks flocked to voting big time for Donald Trump, who reclaimed the presidency in 2024 after beating the installed party-machine candidate Kamala Harris.
None of this would have been possible without the bravery and courage of Charlie Kirk, who wanted to serve his country on the battlefield as an Army beret but instead served this nation with a lifetime full of lessons about civil discourse, open debate and respecting one another no matter what differences we might have. I’m not sure if the left-wing liberals have been able to have a modern impactful figure sway them in the right direction of peace, prosperity and love for thy neighbor. Not since Martin Luther King Jr, whose death provoked more hatred after the civil rights legislation that he had been fighting for had been passed through Congress. We conservatives cannot let Charlie’s death turn us into an ugly and vicious version of ourselves. We must remain committed to our mission of educating people about the consequences of voting for extremist far-left political candidates and to always leave a seat at the table available for those who choose to reconsider their viewpoints on different subjects. We must be the Big Tent party and that must continue, even after one of our greatest messengers was shot underneath his own tent. We cannot let the demons within us or facing us win either. We must remain steadfast and strong, even in the face of despair and personal loss. We must return this country back to the vision that it was founded on by our Founding Fathers. Keep all the good values that they preached and continue to reject the things they tolerated such as slavery and disenfranchised voters due to their gender and economic status. But we must purify America and keep her great, for the time is coming when all the nations of the Earth will be judged by the Creator, Messiah and Spirit all in one. Do we want to be seen as self-destructive fools who let our nation be destroyed before Revelation comes to pass? I don’t think so.
Finally, in concluding this emotional note, I must reflect on the personal impact that Charlie Kirk left on me. I became a registered Republican voter in 2022, when the restrictions wrought on by cowardly politicians and health “experts” on the Covid-19 pandemic were starting to ease, slowly but surely. Being a native of Orange County, Calif, I was fortunate not to endure all the unnecessary restrictions that other areas in the state were imposing on their civilians in the name of “safety” from a virus with a rather-low mortality rate. But that didn’t matter to them and I saw the Democrats for the power-hungry goons that they are. I also saw the mainstream media as enabling their reign as their brains had been broken by Trump’s rise to power. They could not be more subjective on CNN, MSNBC, and even local outlets such as KTLA, ABC and CBS. So, I decided to finally cross the bridge to watching Fox News, which I had been hesitant to do at first due to my family being mostly liberal and against conservative beliefs. But after being exposed to articles on news sites such as Townhall that criticized the policy positions that I had voted against in voting to recall Gavin Newsom as the Golden state’s governor and allow a right-leaning African-American conservative radio host to be the first Black governor in California’s long history, I saw the hypocrisy of the left and vowed to never fade into it. I watched my first Fox News broadcast on the lead up to Biden’s State of the Union address in March of 2022 and I have not stopped watching since. One of the many contributors on the shows of political commentators that I have viewed such as Sean Hannity, Laura Ingraham, Jesse Watters and Greg Gutfeld was Charlie Kirk, who spread his message to those watching the most-viewed cable news channel in recent years throughout this nation. In spite of those cutting the cord and not sticking to watching TV through cable and satellite providers, Fox News has remained strong and Charlie Kirk’s presence on the network was very important in educating people about what was really going on and not letting the host spew up all the time. I actually got Charlie Kirk confused with another political analyst who is more closely tied to Fox in Charlie Hurt, who is an older analyst that appears on the countless shows that the channel uses to fill its hours from early-morning to late at night. Kirk, being the younger of the two Charlies, was more busy doing his own events and he occasionally made time to spread his message on Fox. Heck, back in 2012, he was a young 18-year old high school student who came onto their morning show Fox & Friends in his first major appearance. Talk about how time flies, right?
Many people have come to believe that Charlie Kirk could have run for the presidency someday. In this period of time, he met all the requirements other than one… he was simply too young to run. Potentially as early as 2028, Charlie could have been eligible to run for the Republican ticket because he would have turned 35 years old(on Oct 14, the same birthday as one of my relatives) during the campaign. Thirty-five is the minimum age that a candidate has to be in order to be elected to office and with the election on the first Tuesday of November, Kirk would have barely made the cut. But maybe in a future year, he would have been more prosed as a candidate against career politicians. It was that way for Trump, who had plenty of failed presidential runs before finally succeeding in the middle of the 2010s decade as a 70-year old with the energy of a young candidate. But Kirk had all the other intangibles needed to run for president. He was a married man to his beloved Erika, who bore him two beautiful children. He was also a devout Christian, stating that “Jesus saved my life”. Now his poor little girl and infant boy will not have their father in their lives now. All because a deranged lunatic decided to carry out his assassination. Now like the children of John F. Kennedy, Robert Kennedy, and other notable figures, the children of Charlie Kirk will have to grow up without a father. A reality faced by plenty of people in this modern society, but when your father is murdered that makes the pain so much worse. Maybe someday they will pick up his torch when their generation has risen to power and could potentially follow the same split trajectory that Gen-Z is currently on politically speaking.
But for now, there will be plenty of others to continue fighting the good fight that Charles Kirk was fighting. All the way until the day he died, which came a day before the somber 24th anniversary of the September 11 terrorist attacks on American soil. That event united our country and committed our armed forces to taking down the evil foreign terrorist groups responsible for so much bloodshed. But if it’s just one American shot dead(especially one who did not say the nicest things about specific groups that the left-wing cares about so much), the needle will barely move and unity is unfortunately a fool’s hope. Political violence has spewed more onto the left-wing of the political spectrum, even though the right-wing has been blamed for keeping guns available for the psychopaths who commit violent acts against innocent people. Words can fuel people to do stupid things and the messengers on the left side of the spectrum have not backed down. Even after President Trump, as a candidate last year, was nearly shot in the head(the bullet grazed his ear lobe thankfully) and almost assassinated by a similarly rogue young man who met his fate of death immediately after shooting countless bullets that killed an innocent firefighter called Corey Comperatore. Trump survived to become president again and to continue his mission of keeping America strong, safe, healthy, powerful and great.
Sadly, Charlie Kirk met his end on that Utah campus courtyard. But his mission has not ended. No, it has only begun. There is going to be a reckoning soon about how much some American voters can tolerate extremist far-left politicians running some of the biggest cities in our country. That reckoning must be met with the truth and consequences of voting for an irresponsible zealot looking to impose his own policies onto millions of people. Charlie Kirk would not want us to cower. He would want us to fight, fight, fight till the bitter end. But we must fight peacefully and patriotically, no matter what threats we might be under. Hopefully there will not be any more conservative activists who will be martyred in the name of violent resistance. If that happens, this country might not survive the civil war that could occur. But we must remain strong as true Americans and devote ourselves to protecting our beliefs and our homeland from violent domestic threats, something that the left sees us as. We must prove them wrong and show them that their language incites violence. Tampering down and cooling down the language is harder to do when social media platforms exist to amplify dangerous and insane views of the world and the people running it. Peace must be what we are after, because if that does not happen, bloodshed is the result. Charlie Kirk would want us to pursue peace and civil discourse and not let the demons within us win. I pray that we can honor his memory by following his example, conservatives and liberals alike.
