Dem Reckoning: What Joe Biden’s Latest Health Update Means For The Future Of The Political Party Set To Turn 200 Years Old When The Next General Election Year Occurs

Truth, it is the most powerful thing in the world. What someone in power decides to do with the truth, however, is fully up to them and if that one person is not in charge, then that is a chaotic situation waiting to happen or happening underneath our noses or without our knowledge. If the man in charge isn’t in charge of his own cognitive abilities and doesn’t have any idea what’s going on, then who’s running the show? These are relevant questions to ask when a person in charge of a business or company is having trouble remembering important details and going into cognitive decline. Too many people have faced this fate as they have aged due to the deterioration of the brain and the melding of the mind itself.

Now imagine if this occurred in a higher office of power, with the stakes for many things regarding national security, global stability and economic trends being at high levels. You don’t need to imagine if you have been aware of what occurred under the previous presidential administration. The consequences of having an old career politician as the president of the United States were not relevant to the people when they elected the man in question, but as time went by and people started becoming assimilated into society again following a global pandemic, the curtain started to be pulled back slowly but surely. New issues arose that dwarfed the old issues that the president got elected through and the people started feeling left behind as they or someone they knew started becoming victims of crime or tragic death via drug inhalation or murder. But sadly the concerns of specific people who were victimized were drowned out by a corrupt and complicit media elite that aligned themselves with the administration so that they could be in favorable positions in their profession. The only outlets who would report such factual stories on illegal immigration surges, drug-induced deaths of innocent civilians and questioning the decision-making abilities of the sitting president were outlets that were aligned with the opposing political wing, who tried their best to resist all the change that was being inflicted onto the country without its consent or full knowledge. High inflation rates occurred due to a misleadingly-named bill passed in Congress meant to reduce inflation, which only increased over the following months. Pain of paying high prices for groceries and gasoline became a focal point for many middle-class American citizens. Along with all the other insane stuff occurring, the country eventually bore full witness to the cognitive nature of the sitting president when he was beaten badly in a debate against the opposing candidate who was looking to return to the office of power that he had been stripped of by the president. The mainstream media finally started questioning the health of the president when they could have done so years earlier, but elected not to because they feared the man who was in power beforehand would have a pathway to return to the highest office of power in the land.

Trying to prevent this, a late switch-up occurred and the sitting president anointed his vice president as the candidate for the general election that year. With only months to prepare and campaign, the vice president did her best, but she was defeated because she shared responsibility for all the failures of the administration that she was indelibly tied to for its entirety. And thus, the country is back on the right track and the party opposing every move by the current president is in a tough position. A very tough position. They face a very inconvenient truth, a reckoning that will forever change the political landscape of the greatest nation on the face of the Earth. The question remains of how much can this old and aging party(figuratively and literally) move forward after a humiliating few years and can they improve their chances to retake the highest office in a few years’ time when their party will be turning two centuries old. They face an age of uncertainty, but they still hold power in plenty of congressional districts to keep Congress in a tight split. Whether they can retain that split and swing it into their favor remains to be seen, but there will be a chance for them to prove themselves worthy of trust very soon after betraying the American people in the past few years. This is the struggle of the current Democratic Party, which finds itself becoming radicalized by its far-left wing and their inability to appear more centrist could cost them for many election cycles to come. Because they were unable to manage a hard situation effectively, the Democrats are in big trouble when it comes to their grasp on federal power in this country. The opposing party in the Republican Party was in a similar predicament a decade earlier, but they were saved from political irrelevancy by the current president, who returned to the Oval Office after being defeated in an election by the man potentially responsible for putting the Democrats in the mud.

That man is the 46th president of the United States of America and he was not the picture of health that anyone would want to see portrayed in the most powerful leader in the world. Joseph R. Biden Jr had plenty of political experience and wanted to be the president and he got his wish. Just potentially a little too late in his life and at the wrong time for him health wise. Elected as the oldest president in American history in 2020, Joe Biden did his best to lead a country looking to recover from a horrible pandemic and was going through a “racial reckoning” following a summer of unrest and police brutality incidents towards African-American citizens. This was political capital for the Democrats to use against the Republicans, who had been in a tough position of power due to Congress slightly leaning in the favor of the Democrats. With Biden’s victory came a transition period and recovery for the economy, nationally and worldwide. Shipping ports were reopened and products were able to be delivered to store locations throughout the nation on a more frequent basis. But obstacles did arise, obstacles that the American people had to face due to the still-present virus and different guidelines when it came to combatting it. The COVID-19 pandemic forced the country into lockdown and medical experts were warning that the only thing that could give people a sense of relief was a vaccine that was created in order to give them immunity from catching the virus. Or so the theory was. A vaccine can only do so much to protect someone from getting ill via a specific illness. And with the virus undergoing mutations and whatnot, there was no guarantee of protection from sickness. But the vaccine was marketed as a safeguard for when people did get sick, they were less likely to die from the virus, as hundreds of thousands of people had done so before the vaccine became widely available. The roadblocks that the administration supported were further extensions of face-mask wearing requirements in specific areas such as airports and federal transportation vehicles along with allowing companies and states to enforce vaccination requirements for employees to return to work. The strictness that the Biden administration showed on this issue would come back to bite them among citizens who were skeptical to take the vaccine for a variety of different reasons.

With vaccine mandates being a temporary headache as the virus waned through different variants and people gaining immunity either via the vaccine or being infected with COVID-19(and mostly living to tell the tale), the country moved forward. Unfortunately, there were greater issues that occurred under Biden’s presidency that would be more permanent and globally impactful. Such as the botched retreat from a country that the U.S Armed Forces had been occupying for nearly 20 years and the start of a bloody war between two nations bordering each other in the Eastern European area of the world. The inability for meaningful mediation between the two sides only dragged out the conflict, which continues today and the current administration is looking to properly resolve. Another international conflict occurred between a nation resurrected due to a horrific genocidal event in the 20th century and a terrorist group seeking to eradicate that nation for eternity. And yet again, the Biden administration couldn’t seem to make good enough moves to prevent further bloodshed or condemn the forces responsible for starting that war in the Middle East. The Democratic Party found itself in a split position when it came to supporting the modern nation of Israel in their war against Hamas, whose militants had crossed the Israel-Gaza Strip border and slaughtered more than a thousand innocent Israeli civilians and took hundreds more into captivity. The Democrats were more fervently supportive of Ukraine, a nation born out of the Cold War death of the Soviet Union and in danger of falling captive to the modern federation of Russia and its ruthless President Vladimir Putin. The Dems wanted unlimited funding in the Ukraine-Russia War for the Ukrainian freedom fighters seeking to defend their sovereignty from their Russian adversaries. Meanwhile, they were more skeptical about spending money on defense for Israel due to the country having a strong defense force and the Israeli military complex conducting bombing operations in Gaza that were inadvertently killing thousands of Palestinian citizens. As anti-war protests started breaking out on college campuses throughout the U.S due to college chancellors and boards of regents funding weapons programs for Israel, there was further chaos coming for the Democrats, who were accused of having supported a president who was in cognitive decline for years before he gained entry into the Oval Office.

Joe Biden was previously the vice president to the first African-American president in U.S history in Barack Obama and for eight years he served as a vice president for a presidency that was successful in a lot of different issues facing the country. But a new leader arose to save the slumping Republicans from political irrelevancy and that man was none other than the famous multi-billionaire businessman named Donald J Trump, who ran for president and successfully won the Republican nomination for president. Trump then defeated former First Lady and Secretary of State Hillary Clinton in the 2016 presidential election, gaining a truly impressive victory. The rise of Trump was fueled with a powerful economy inherited from Obama’s presidency and tariff deals made among trading partners with the United States. But the media was fervently against Trump’s policies and sought to demonize him whenever they could. Issues such as handling border enforcement of illegal immigrants seeking asylum and gun violence in schools would politically snare the federal faction of Republicans in the 2018 midterms, when Democrats took back control of the House of Representatives and the Senate. The Dems pestered Trump with impeachment threats due to claims that the 2016 presidential election was rigged due to a network of Russian agents helping Trump win the election because of “disinformation” on social media platforms and other digital websites. These claims were investigated by Robert Mueller, who could not find any substantial evidence that Trump was aided by Russian spies to influence and win the election. Still, the Democrats wanted to impeach Trump and they were still pushing for this even as their party’s convention sought to nominate a candidate that could potentially defeat Trump in an electoral race. Joe Biden threw his hat into the ring to run for president in his mid-to-late seventies in age and he would end up being the party’s nominee after all the other candidates left standing ended their own respective campaigns due to the coronavirus pandemic. This was Biden’s last chance to gain election into the Oval Office ever and he would have former California senator and former district attorney of San Francisco Kamala D. Harris as his vice presidential choice.

The Democrats used the wrongful police officer murders of black victims to their advantage in 2020 along with the mishandled response to Covid cases and Trump giving questionable advice on how people should safeguard themselves from the virus that originated in a lab in the adversarial nation of China. Blaming the Chinese Communist Party for letting the virus go rampant and worldwide in the first place, Trump was not as focused on the present when the virus was spreading rapidly throughout the nation and causing thousands of cases and deaths among people of different ages and backgrounds. President Trump was done in due to him catching the virus himself during a critical time of the campaign and although he recovered physically, the electoral outlook was not looking good for him. And the 2020 general election was held in a very different format than previous elections had been. More people were able to vote via absentee ballots mailed to them due to fears of catching the coronavirus at polling places, which still remained open for people to go vote in-person with COVID restrictions such as mask-wearing and social distancing in effect. Because of the high amount of mail-in ballots used, it took longer to determine which candidate would pass the 270 electoral vote mark that guarantees election to the presidency. After a few days of ballot sorting, Joe Biden was declared the winner of the election as he had won tight swing states such as Arizona, Georgia and Pennsylvania to finally become president. Donald Trump was defeated, but he still looked to legally challenge the election results on the grounds that the vote-counting should have stopped on the night of the election. These court efforts did not succeed for Trump, who would unfortunately turn to desperate measures to overturn the election. At least that’s the picture the media wants painted of Trump, who held a passionate rally on the White House lawn where he told his supporters in Washington D.C to go to the Capitol building to protest “peacefully and patriotically”. But the patriotic passion boiled over as the supporters that made their way to the Capitol, where the certification of the election results were occurring, ended up barging into the Capitol to stop the election results from being certified in Biden’s favor. Trump would eventually tell his supporters to leave the Capitol and they did. The media painted this event as an “insurrection” and Trump was impeached just days before he left the Oval Office. Joe Biden’s entry into the White House was not halted and life would go on. But Democrats used the events of Jan. 6, 2021 to demean conservative supporters of Donald Trump and arrest anyone who was associated with breaching the Capitol grounds, even if they were not acting in a violent manner. The Dems actually cared about trespassing, but only when it affected a place where they work and gather. Hearings were held by the January 6th Select Committee in the House, which featured Democrats predominantly and only a couple Republican congressional members who were not loyal to Trump’s policies. Footage of suspicious events and figures related to the events of Jan. 6, 2021 were not shown enough in committee and clearly the conclusion to these hearings yielded no significant political advantage to the Democrats, who were seeking to hold off a “Red Wave” in the 2022 midterm elections.

In the midterm elections, the Republicans took back control of the House of Representatives but by a thin margin as the Red Wave was held off and contained mostly to the state of Florida, which had become a conservative hotbed and a base of resistance for the Republican Party against the policies of the Biden administration. A major event that occurred the same year as the midterms was the raiding of Donald Trump’s Mar-a-Lago residence in West Palm Beach, Fla. The Department of Justice wanted documents related to Trump’s efforts to try and overturn the 2020 election results, but they might have conducted an unauthorized raid of his property. This was just one of many cases that the Democrats threw against Trump as there were a few rogue district attorneys and lawyers who wanted to have their own piece of Trump’s flesh through court cases regarding the 2020 election and Trump’s past business fallouts. There was an election-interference case in Georgia, where Trump tried to swing the state into his favor by ordering a group of allies to help him find 11,000 votes to defeat the margin that Biden had won the state by. Plenty of subpoenas had been served up by Democrat congressional committees towards Trump’s allies such as Steve Bannon, Roger Stone and Rudy Giuliani. As Trump was seeing his inner circle punished, he campaigned for Republicans in swing districts during the midterms. With successes such as Eric Schmitt in Missouri, Ron Johnson in Wisconsin, and J.D Vance in Ohio but Senate failures such as Mehmet Oz in Pennsylvania and Herschel Walker in Georgia, the Republicans were not able to take back the Senate, but they would have control of the House by a margin of nine representatives over the Democrats.

Another major issue that held Republicans back from taking full congressional control in 2022 was the controversial issue of abortion access and that the Supreme Court earlier that year had struck down Roe v. Wade in a case called Dobbs v. Jackson Women’s Health Organization. The Democrats attempted to use the Trump-made Supreme Court(with three conservative justices having been appointed by Trump in his first term) decision on abortion that effectively returned the right to create laws on abortion access back to the states as a fear tactic among their voters and independent voters that abortion was going to be completely outlawed in the United States. With this tactic of fear used, especially by Biden and his allies in the Democratic Party and the left-wing legacy media, abortion initiatives placed on state ballots throughout the country mostly ruled in favor of abortion access and some states such as California and Ohio enshrined the right to an abortion in their state constitutions. Other states created restrictions to abortions and cut-off dates in pregnancies when undergoing an abortion was deemed illegal. Conservative states such as Texas, Florida and Alabama ended up instituting previously-constructed bills against abortion that would become effective when Roe was struck down. Thus, Democrat-controlled states with more favorable abortion policies became “safe havens” for desperate women to have an abortion, even if their lives were not at risk due to health complications from a pregnancy. The Biden administration used its power to go after those who were against abortions and those who peacefully protested/prayed in front of Planned Parenthood facilities throughout the nation. Innocent civilians were being arrested for simply expressing their dissent towards something that no woman should ever have to go through, but loads of them choose to because of a lack of financial resources and emotional support to make it through a pregnancy and maintain confidence in being a wonderful mother. All of the states with restrictions on abortion access allow for an abortion to be performed past the legal limits that they instituted if the pregnant woman has been a victim of rape or incest and if her life is in danger due to a deformed fetus or any other health effects from a pregnancy. But those restrictive laws forced abortion clinics in those “red states” to close down and for providers to move towards more friendly states towards abortion access. So, the Democrats sought to use abortion as a politicized football against any Republican candidate set to run for the presidency in the 2024 election.

The greater issue of Joe Biden’s health would come back to haunt the Democrats when 2024 came around. There was already tension on the administration’s policies towards illegal immigration in effectively stopping Immigration and Customs Enforcement officers from turning migrants back at the southern border, basically allowing for scores of illegal immigrants to come into the nation freely without any restrictions whatsoever. The cognitive health of Biden was displayed at speaking engagements he spoke at along with mishaps such as falling onto the concrete after stopping his bicycle on a summer day in his residential area of Rehoboth Beach, Del, falling on stage at a military ceremony at the Air Force Academy and also looking clueless on-stage after he had finishing speaking and needing help about which way to go when walking off-stage. The mainstream media did not pay much attention to this, but conservative outlets were seeing this as a sign of mental decline from the sitting president and reporters from those outlets started asking questions. They were met with hostile rebukes from White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre, who tried her best to paint a positive picture of President Biden’s health while being kept in the dark about what was really going on behind the scenes. Poor old Joe was around 80 years old when he announced that he would be attempting a re-election bid for the White House. As the incumbent, he had every right to do so. But more Democrats should have asked whether it was the right thing to do and if an open primary should be considered among their convention. The administration had also been snared by charges brought against the president’s son in Hunter Biden, who was accused of sneaking cocaine into the White House but that wasn’t the case he was faced with. Hunter was faced with tax evasion charges by a federal district court in Los Angeles and he had to stand trial for being accused of his crimes. Something more concerning towards Pres. Biden’s inner circle were accusations that the man himself had engaged in business dealings with his son’s business partners from a Ukrainian energy company named Burisma and that the money that Hunter had acquired was used to financially benefit the whole Biden family. Well, most of the Biden family except for a woman that Hunter had married and had a daughter with and they were no longer together. Old Joe was also faced with charges that he had kept classified documents himself in the garage of his residence in Rehoboth Beach as a box of them were shown in a campaign ad of Biden driving a car into the garage. And these charges would be investigated by a special council led by investigator Robert Hur, who would interview the president in a meeting held in the Oval Office(or some other classified location) in Oct. 2023.

The Hur report came out and stated that Joe Biden was incapable of remembering important details about when he gained possession of those documents and he had other problems remembering when his time as Vice President had ended and when his other son Beau had passed away from cancer. The report stated that Biden was “a well-meaning old man with a poor memory” and thus was cognitively incapable of being brought before a court to testify on his own behalf. The Hur report infuriated many people in the left-wing media, labeling it as a political “hit-job” on Biden’s legacy and character. Most of the Democrats were tooth and nail behind Biden as they described him as sharp. But there were very little cabinet meetings that occurred during the Biden administration and those that did occur were restrictive and stonewalling the press from broadcasting it on live television. The First Lady in Dr. Jill Biden(who isn’t a medical doctor) had an unusual political influence during her husband’s presidency, basically aiding Joe through the day and also escorting him on the record-high amount of off-days that he had away from Washington DC. Jill also had some beef with Kamala Harris and didn’t like the vice president in the slightest bit, something that would surface up in one of the most insane electoral cycles in American history in 2024.

The mainstream media had dismissed Biden’s speaking gaffes due to him having a “stutter”, a natural excuse to make him appear more relatable to those with actual speaking problems. Joe Biden had delivered three State of the Union addresses and had failed to address the problems that were occurring under his watch. Republicans sought to call him out on those issues of illegal immigration and crimes committed by illegal alien gang members who deserved to be deported back to their country of origin but were protected by the sanctuary city laws of the big cities and blue states that they were living in and let back on the streets to commit more crimes against innocent Americans, the economy and inflation impacting prices of groceries and gas and electric vehicle mandates that threatened the ability of the American consumer to make the choice about whether to purchase a car with an electric engine or a hybrid car or a regular gasoline-powered car. There were also taboo pieces of legislation that alienated the average American such as embracing taxpayer-funded “sex changes” for undocumented immigrants and that fueled anger against the transgender community that had pitched the flag of “Pride Month” onto the month of June and that corporate companies were becoming more keen on hiring people based on immutable traits such as race(on the basis of skin color mostly favoring those with black and brown skin tones), gender identity(LGBTQ+ favoring) and political affiliation(liberal preferred over everything else). These were the assumptions that have been festering for the past decade-plus among American citizens who don’t have those immutable traits favoring them, as they were finally feeling the unfairness and injustice that has been executed on those minority groups for decades and generations. I totally agree that those people in more oppressed and underserved communities and demographic groups should get as fair a shot as anyone else to be hired for a position in any job company. But those immutable traits should not determine whether they get hired or not. It should be behavior, integrity and willingness to work that determines whether a candidate for a job gets hired or not. Along with knowledge of the job field that they’re applying for and looking to enter. But sadly not everybody sees it that way. Those on the left believe that the deck was stacked against the minority groups that they claim to fully represent for many years and generations of employees, even with Civil Rights legislation requiring equal employment opportunity for those racial groups of African-Americans and Hispanic Americans. In the end, they will never be satisfied unless someone that checks all their boxes and thinks exactly like them is hired. That doesn’t sound very inclusive; it sounds exclusive and very harsh to the average worker just looking for a good-paying job that can pay the bills and put food on the table. The Democratic Party has been fully in line with this ideology because of racial discrimination against black and brown skinned people by law enforcement and other powerful forces in society, so they were looking to continue the fight for equality and justice that had been fought(and seemingly won) by the Civil Rights activists of yesteryear. But they were in for a rude awakening by those that they claimed to represent and had dominated in gaining a majority vote margin from them for countless elections for plenty of election cycles in the past several decades.

An unexpected summer occurred in 2024 when Donald Trump was fingerprinted and had a mugshot taken of him at a Georgia prison facility due to the election interference case going against him. But that case fell flat due to allegations of misconduct by the prosecutor looking to put Trump behind bars in Fani Willis. I won’t mention much about her, but she was definitely not the right person for the position she was in. But in New York City, Manhattan to be specific, Trump was in hot water over a case that should have never been brought forward, but only was in order to prevent him from running for the White House office again. Trump was accused of falsifying business documents related to hush payments that he made to a pornographic actress named Stormy Daniels, who alleged that Trump had sex with her in the mid-2000s at around the same time that he married his third wife in Melania Trump and had his youngest son in Barron Trump with. The hush payments were allegedly made in the lead up to the 2016 election when Trump defeated Hillary Clinton so that this story wouldn’t bring a media firestorm upon him. The media was already eating Trump stories up enough, so those allegations would certainly add fuel to the fire. Unfortunately, in a liberally-biased town that he used to have prominence in, Donald Trump was convicted on all 34 counts of falsifying business documents by a jury that was clearly made by the prosecutors and the political power heads in Manhattan who had one mission in mind: put Trump behind bars. Legal experts mostly thought that the charges brought against Trump were absurd as he had committed a crime that did not have a definite punishment or litmus test to punish. Plus, he was actively campaigning and had to be off the campaign trail at an important time in the electoral cycle(leading up to the GOP convention in Milwaukee, Wisc). This was clearly an attempt to use lawfare against Trump to prevent him from gaining favor among the swing voters in the swing states that Biden had won in the previous election. But this would have the opposite effect on the American people, who had been through hard times in the past few years when it came to recovering from the pandemic and the inflationary crisis that had strained grocery stores and gas stations alike. Along with the Democrats’ favoring of illegal immigrants over the country’s national security and the foreign wars occurring overseas, things were not looking good for the Dems. They were desperate to have as many votes in their favor as possible, so they were looking to register as many illegal immigrants to vote as possible. This wouldn’t make much of a difference to the electoral vote count in states that were predominantly guaranteed to go into favor of the Democrats or Republicans, but it would make a serious difference in the swing states. But some of the swing states had more restrictive voting laws than others, so that was going against the Democrats as well.

The polls were another factor that was not making the Democratic Party look good as Biden easily won the nomination to run for president again. One of the only candidates who dared to challenge Biden in the primary was a young representative from Minnesota named Dean Phillips, who argued that the president’s cognitive health should be pointed out and that an open primary should be held. Unfortunately for Mr. Phillips, he was in the minority view in his party on that as the Dems were confident that Biden could defeat Trump again. The polls showed a bleaker picture though, as Trump was doing better in the polls than in previous cycles. Trump was gaining ground in states that were supposed to be guaranteed votes for the Democrats such as New Jersey, Minnesota, Virginia and New Hampshire. And in the swing states, Trump was looking good in most of them. The Democrats were getting desperate and the presidential debate on June 27, 2024 was a last-chance gasp for Joe Biden to show that he still had enough vigor to be the president. In a debate broadcast on CNN in Atlanta, Geo, Trump and Biden went up against each other in an empty studio with moderators Dana Bash and Jake Tapper present and asking questions. Trump owned the debate as Biden had a weak, coarse voice and sounded like someone his age of 81 years old. Meanwhile, Trump capitalized on Biden’s gaffes such as “We finally beat Medicare” and also took advantage of taboo comments that Biden made towards him. The country was now fully awake to the cognitive decline of the sitting president. The only ones who were aware beforehand were those that watched conservative outlets such as Fox News and read stories on outlets such as The New York Post, DailyMail and BreitBart that questioned Biden’s health and policy decisions. But the Democrats knew they were in between a rock and a hard place and they knew something desperate had to be done.

Supposedly, that desperate thing was to force Biden to step down and announce a new candidate or have an open primary. But there was pushback from Biden’s inner circle and aides, who did not want the president to step down from seeking re-election because they were convinced that he would be a better leader for America than Donald Trump, who has been the left’s white whale since he came down from an escalator at his tower in New York City to announce that he was running for the presidency in 2015. There was consensus among the Democratic leaders in Congress that Biden had to end his re-election bid after the disaster of a debate that made him look brain dead and old. Chuck Schumer, the Senate’s Majority whip, looked to talk Biden out of this mess in early July, but Joe would not budge. Celebrities such as George Clooney, Jack Black, and other famous figures were still backing Biden until that debate and videos of him on the campaign trail that showed him looking confused on-stage were shown. The media shot these clips down as “cheap fake” videos, a form of video that can be edited by the person shooting it or anyone with access to the video. But this narrative died on deaf ears and the media started pivoting away from this after the debate showed the Biden that was seen in those videos. In spite of all his debate prep at Camp David, Biden still looked weak and lost on the debate stage. He might have actually been sick and that was at the most possible worst time for the Democrats.

Something worse almost occurred in a town in western Pennsylvania on Sat. July 13, 2024, when Donald Trump was at a campaign rally in the town of Butler, Pa. At the beginning of his speech, Trump turned to his side to point out a chart on illegal immigration statistics when suddenly gunshots were fired and Trump had to duck under stage as his Secret Service detail covered him. There was a gunman firing shots towards him and the crowd from a rooftop of a building near the rally site and that gunman was shot to death by a bullet from a counter sniper on a building across from where the sniper was. Trump was hit, but he was not dead. He had been bloodied on his ear and blood came down his face as he was covered by those fine Secret Service agents. The MAGA crowd was in shock as their figure of motivation had been nearly shot dead. But Donald was just fine as he raised his fist up in the air and shouted out “Fight! Fight! Fight!” He was transported to a medical facility in the area where he had his bloodied earlobe treated and he ended up being just fine. Sadly for one gentleman named Corey Comparatore, he was not as he had been shot dead by bullets fired by the gunman, whose name was Thomas Matthew Crooks, a 20-year old community college student from a southern suburb of Pittsburgh who traveled up the road to Butler that day to kill the Republican presidential candidate. This was an unbelievable moment in American history that has not been fully reckoned with and probably never will due to the mainstream media being adamantly opposed to Donald Trump and his ideology for a better America. But the people could clearly see this was not a stunt. It was a real thing, and the Democrats knew that they were beyond screwed because they knew that this narrative of political violence would be used against them. It was already the case on college campuses for students that were violently protesting the war in Gaza between Israel and Hamas, with violence against Jewish students and faculty being an unspoken issue that was obviously present. Now, with an assassination attempt towards their number one political enemy, they were in a tougher space. They knew that something had to happen to try and bring momentum back into their favor. And that something was demanding that Joe Biden step down from seeking re-election.

Donors to the Democratic Party started pulling away their money into campaigns and demanded that Biden step down from seeking re-election because the polls made it show that there would be a landslide and Trump would win the election. So, on Jul. 21, 2024, Joseph Robinette Biden Jr announced that he would not be seeking re-election as President of the United States. Biden became the first sitting president since Lyndon B. Johnson to not seek another full four-year term in the Oval Office. That was in 1968, right before Joe Biden’s political career began in the early 1970s. The time had come, but something extra that Biden announced was that Kamala Harris, his vice president, would be the nominee for the top of the Democratic Party’s presidential ticket. So, it went from Biden-Harris to just Harris and whoever the vice presidential pick would be for Kamala, who was seeking to become the first female president in U.S history. But she was facing an uphill battle against Donald Trump, who was christened as the Republican nominee for the third straight general election after surviving that horrid assassination attempt. Harris would not do anything to quell the political rhetoric that was inflammatory and divisive towards Trump and his “supporters”. Instead she embraced it and continued the long trope of calling Trump a “threat to democracy”. Clearly, this was desperation mode for the DNC as Harris had to quickly choose her vice president. She had a few solid choices to go with such as Senator Mark Kelly from Arizona, Pennsylvania Governor Josh Shapiro(who is Jewish), and others. But Kamala instead settled for a guy who was endeared to the far-left wing of the Democratic Party after winning a couple gubernatorial elections and being a leader who stood up for “racial injustice” and had “favorable” policies such as defunding his state’s police funding by a big margin, allowing a medical tool used by young women into boys bathrooms and other questionable acts of legislation fully supported by the Democrat majority legislature in his state. Enter Tim Walz, who was trying to cater to the men in the Democratic Party and those who were on the fence from the independent standpoint. As governor of Minnesota since 2019, Walz had run a state with a majority of its population concentrated in a fifty-mile radius near the border with Wisconsin with far-left policies that were inclusive to the “minorities” that the Dems claim to fully represent. Transgender people, including “trans kids”- check. Illegal immigrants seeking protection and sanctuary from federal immigration forces- check. And especially the long-oppressed populations of African-Americans, indigenous peoples and the whole swath of racial minorities- super check. Kamala’s campaign might have made the wrong choice in choosing a VP candidate as they chose a guy who participated in different armed conflicts, but decided to bow out and not fight for his country because he was afraid of dying in war and not seeing his children grow up. Those are legitimate concerns and the decision Tim Walz made was his own, but it spits in the face of countless veterans who have seen their own fellow soldiers die in war and have come home with PTSD. An absolute dishonor that he actually didn’t involve that part of his story and the Minnesota-nice residents of the Twin Cities metro area actually voted for him as a state legislator a couple of times. So, Kamala could have chosen someone with as much or more political experience than Walz like Josh Shapiro, whose candidacy could have swung the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania(where Trump nearly died) back in the favor of the Democrats. But the Harris campaign chose Walz and they decided to live with the consequences of that decision.

In the end, with a late convention and endorsement from the advisors of Barack Obama and other left-wing popularities, Kamala Harris could not defeat Donald Trump in an important presidential election. Being rightfully connected to the Biden administration’s policy decisions that endangered the country in so many different ways, Harris could not hold off or dispel those critics that called her the “border czar”. Plus, her style of speaking was a very unfortunate hindrance to her messages of “unburdened by what has been” and “we’re not going back”. Trump won the election and won the popular vote along with all the seven swing states of Nevada, Arizona, Georgia, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, Michigan and Wisconsin. Donald Trump earned the right to return to the White House and won back some important margins of demographic groups that Joe Biden had dominated in. Harris did so badly that she wasn’t able to swing a single county more into her favor than Biden did in 2020, meaning that every county in the United States(continental U.S at least) swung further to the right or stayed the same in terms of margin of error. Harris still held some of the counties that Biden won, but they all shifted into a closer margin towards Trump. Kamala had lost and she was fired from her vice presidential role by a united coalition that Trump had brought together to make America great again in so many ways. Joe Biden continued to work barely as a White House representative, but he continued with his usual gaffes of dozing off, getting lost in a rainforest, walking off-stage the wrong way and other misadventures as an 82-year old man with a clear cognitive health problem. Donald Trump, god-willingly, will surpass Biden as the oldest president ever, but his cognitive state is as sharp as it has ever been.

Ironically, something similar was said by MSNBC commentator Joe Scarborough, who said in the 2024 Democratic primary that swung in Biden’s favor when referring to the 46th President of the United States- “Start your tape right now, because I’m about to tell you the truth, and f-you if you can’t handle the truth. This version of Biden, intellectually, analytically, is the best Biden ever”. Well, at least one Joe supported another Joe and stood by his guns, even if it wasn’t the reality that most of the American people were seeing. The media was complicit in not covering and questioning President Biden’s health better, but most of them were toe in line with the Democrats, who wanted to hold onto power anyway possible and be sure that no Republican candidate could regain that position of power. Clearly, the majority of them are anti-Donald Trump and anti-MAGA, which they see as fascist, racist, xenophobic, transphobic and every other slandering word in the book. But the American people ruled otherwise on Nov. 5, 2024, when Trump won over 300 electoral votes and even made gains in states that were reliably Democratic “blue states” for many years. The tides were changing and clearly the White House press pool’s inability to ask more questions about the health of Joe Biden has lost the mainstream media the trust of the majority of everyday, hardworking Americans.

Joe Biden and Kamala Harris departed from office on Jan. 20, 2025 and both were present at Donald Trump’s inauguration ceremony inside the Capitol Rotunda because of the blistering cold conditions on that day. Joe and Jill Biden left on the Marine One Helicopter to be transported outside of Washington DC and a new era in America had begun. But that wasn’t the case before Joe Biden decided to pardon his son Hunter, who was convicted on those tax and drug charges in federal court, and other family members such as his younger brother Jim Biden for any financial wrongdoing that they might have been engaged in during his vice presidency and presidency. Clearly, these were last-ditch pardon efforts that were trying to cover and wash clean the president and his family’s hands from wrongdoing. But there will be investigations coming on that eventually from Congress. There’s no doubt about that. There are also questions about how shielded the ex-president truly was, as he was not as present as his predecessor and successor Donald Trump has been. Trump is the most media-accessible president in American history, whereas Biden was spending half of his time in office not doing his job as president. Napping on the beach in Delaware, staying at his family’s residence and not being in the White House as much as previous presidents had been. There were legitimate concerns about his health, so much so that the Biden family doctor Kevin O’Connor was willing to conceal any important details about any in-office appointments that he had with one of his oldest clients. Probably his oldest, but I’m not going to speculate on that. Biden’s health had mostly remained a mystery other than the fact that he had been going into cognitive decline throughout the duration of his presidency and even before he was elected in 2020. But a bombshell report on Biden’s health came out right after a book written by one of the reporters who covered for Old Joe was released. CNN commentator Jake Tapper and Axios reporter Alex Thompson have written a book on Biden’s cognitive decline that the majority of the American press had failed to cover in full detail called “Original Sin: President Biden’s Decline, Its Cover-Up, and His Disastrous Choice To Run Again”. This was a book for anyone who had denied what they saw with their own eyes, what they heard with their own ears and what they might have interpreted in their own minds if they weren’t so afraid of the orange-skinned boogeyman on the other side coming back into power. And thus, this book was a reckoning for the media and what they really stand for. They stand for being guardians of the truth, even when they fail to fully report it. They stand for transparency, which they provided none or very little when it came to Joe Biden’s health. They stand for integrity, which they can absolve themselves of if it’s for the right reasons or intent. But the road to hell is paved with good(more like deceitful) intentions. And the Democratic Party needs a new way forward after they failed to have control over their primary system for a high number of electoral cycles.

On Sun. May 18, it was revealed that ex-President Biden had been diagnosed with an aggressive form of prostate cancer with metastasis to his bones. This was something to behold especially since old Joe had just appeared on the controversial morning talk show “The View” with his wife Jill Biden. During his presidency, Joe Biden had not taken a prostate cancer screening test and hadn’t done so since he was vice president in 2014. The cancer might have been discovered sooner if there were not any restrictions towards testing the prostates of older men(those older than 75) and if Biden was not busy running for president and then being president. This is an even more shocking revelation when it comes to understanding Joe’s overall health. There is a possibility that this prostate cancer had started to develop within the president’s posterior many years ago and that there is reason to believe that his cognitive health might have been declining due to him having cancer in his prostate. Biden made a lot of speaking errors and gaffes during his presidency, one of them being that he had “oil cancer” in June 2022. Joe might have known all along but was unable to make out the pain in his prostate due to his lack of cognitive abilities. It was despicable behavior from his aides to shield him from the press, but to execute a plan to run the country and pass executive order legislation without Biden signing it with his own hand is a new level of wicked. Now, I hope that Joe Biden stays alive as long as he can in his well-deserved political retirement(which he had earned after his time as VP ended in 2017) and that he might live a few more years of his long life in seclusion from the world(that last part is what the Democratic Party wants, they don’t want Joe in the public spotlight anymore). But his aides and close family members might need to answer for a potential cover-up of his health and how it put the safety and tranquility of millions of American citizens at risk. Representative James Comer from Kentucky is launching this investigation and subpoenas will be served towards Joe Biden’s closest aides and relatives to answer for what they had done. Jill Biden is already guilty of not wanting her husband to step down from running and Hunter Biden is already accused of many different crimes, including potentially sneaking cocaine into the Oval Office(a claim that hasn’t been fully verified yet). But there have been rumors that a team of Biden’s aides decided to use the auto pen in order to sign many of his executive orders into action, including those on climate change legislation and pardons towards criminals guilty of serious crimes. One man at the center of it all is Ron Klain, who was the White House Chief of Staff for the first two-plus years of Biden’s presidency. After Klain left, there were four aides in particular that Rep. Comer wants info from regarding covering for the president and enacting legislation without Biden’s knowledge or consent. They are Neera Tarden(former director of the Domestic Policy Council), Annie Tomasini(former presidential assistant and Deputy Chief of Staff), Anthony Bernal(a former senior advisor to the First Lady), and Ashley Williams(former deputy director of Oval Office operations). All four of these aides along with anyone else who directly attempted to collude and deceive the American public on this issue are in hot water.

Whatever comes of this, there will be a Dem Reckoning within the party of far-left politicians whose dream it is to hold onto power forever and give a free pass to all their oppressed minority groups(which continue to shrink down to the smallest minorities possible) to do whatever they want and have the right to get away with anything as long as they don’t threaten the power barons in the Democratic Party. That is their intent and they cannot be allowed to have a majority in the House or Senate. The Democrats are definitely in a big mess and it’s one that they made for themselves. They continue to take the 20% on 80% issues that Trump is addressing that the majority of Americans agree with. Having the border closed and secured? A lot of people agree with that, but a majority of Dems do not. Keeping “men” out of women’s sports? A majority of people agree with that, but a whole load of Dems do not. Deporting illegal immigrants who are convicted felons out of the nation and never to return as long as the right person is in power? A lot of people approve of that, but a high number of Democratic politicians do not. What is it going to take for these fools to wake up and realize that no matter what they do in opposition to Trump, they cannot possibly hope to win in the short term? Do they need to be locked out of power for decades to realize this? If they lose control of enough of their secure positions, the Democrat party might itself fracture and crumble. There is an inner civil war going on between the old guard of the Democratic Party and the far-left wing of the party that wants socialism to be America’s future.

Conservatives must continue to stand strong and resist these crazy powermongers at any cost. As for the rest of the electorate, if they are smart enough and not as forgetful, they might never forgive the Democratic Party for fooling them on the matter of Joe Biden’s health. It doesn’t matter what the polls say or what the mood is about how Trump’s administration is tackling different issues head-on with no remorse. This issue of covering for a president with plenty of health issues will snare the Democratic Party for generations. The media might not be willing to admit it, but this scandal might be way worse than Watergate. What Richard Nixon did is pedestrian when compared to what occurred with the health of one Joe Biden and the consequences that occurred due to his fecklessness displayed by the sitting president of the United States of America, which became a laughingstock to the rest of the world as the Afghanistan fallout, Russo-Ukraine war and the conflict in the Middle East between Israel and Arabic terrorist groups were foreign policy blunders that Trump is trying to clean up and rectify. The Democrats care more about power than the American people’s well-being and unless that changes, they will be locked out of power for a very long time. That much is true as they try to find a new leader that can lead them into a post-Trump world coming in a few short years.
